manga is comics, anime is animation (Like dragon ball or disney) hentai means perverted, it's not that complicated, some confused webmasters have separate anime and hentai categories in their tgps as if that meant anything

Anime = animation, that is, vids. In Japan, it includes all sorts of animation (including western cartoon series and such), but in the west it refers to Japanese-style animated cartoons. "Anime pictures" is a particularly dumb phrase - unless you're referring to screenshots, or perhaps doujinshi (amateur manga) based on an existing anime.

Unlike the article claims, anime is not the same as bishoujo is not the same as hentai. Anime, as stated before, are just animated Japanese-style cartoons, bishoujo is anime or manga about pretty girls, often aimed at teen boys and not necessarily sexual (although many are ecchi, which in the west refers to anime or manga with very mild sexual references, but in Japan can range from sexiness to intercourse), while hentai is porn (in the west, at least, in Japan it means perverted).
