This championship series is bring out the Kobe fan in me

My first half observations are:

The little girl did an awesome job of singing the national anthem

Kobe is on fire

The people sitting court side could have bought a pretty nice car for the price of their ticket

The Magic are on fire

Refs are doing a good job of officiating

I'm happy for Orlando but it's going to be hard to replicate such high shooting percentage. Kobe was inexplicably gassed and missed 5 free throws, and Gasol was strangely quiet for much of the game.

But hey, history is shaped just as much by the unexpected as the expected.

That stat is about shooting percentage not scoring. If they only took four shots and made three they would have had the 75% but only six points.

The Lakers had a lower percentage but more shot attempts which made the score so close.
