    I just don't fucking get it???!?!

    Why do free join sites convert far worse than sites that cost $$.

      Theory A:

      Free membership sites only tease the surfer enough to get him to enter and confirm his email. Then spend weeks annoying him to upgrade. Which in some niches, e.g. dating, it can work pretty well.

      Paid membership sites tease the surfer enough to get him to enter and confrim his CC number.

          I meant that surfers join paid sites more than they do ones that are free..
          I'm talking about programs that pay per free join, not per upgrade to paid.. seems I do far better with standard sites than the so called free ones

                  Why would they need to join a free site it is allready free...
                  If you build a good site that can compare a paysite then you might get good traffic... and convert it.

                                      Maybe the sponsor you are using is shaving you.
