Im just looking to give advice someone on the following matter, but, too advise them based upon the wealth of knowledge that is GFY... As opposed to just giving an answer based upon my own personal opinion...
Client has lots of scenes he has shot, but due to previous advice, regarding his selling the scenes as 'proper' DVD's... Leading to his instructing his editor as such... Hence... All scenes are now currently residing on his PC... In .VOB format....
They need to be converted to WMV... For easy web download.
So... whats the best CONVERSION program for him to use? Hes not the most tech savvy. (Hence him using an 'outside' editor) but hes not stupid either... So, It doesn't need to be 'Free' (Nessacerally) but theres little point in suggesting Adobe Premier CS3... As it could well prove not only to costly... But too complicated as well...
Normally I would have answered 'Xilisoft'... But.. Thats what I would have said around a year or so ago...
So, with tech advances. What current (& Reasonably priced) & SIMPLE program, could I recommend he buy, in order to be able to convert .VOB to .WMV?
