It doesn't matter. I'm in America and we still have nothing to fear from anyone on the planet except for two nations that we are fairly friendly with. We now have nukes that don't detonate until they get underground so we can pretty much nuke any city without fear of sending nuclear fallout to neighboring countries.
We also have lasers systems than can destroy any missile headed for us.
