Brilliance, or the measure of Hitler's intelligence or the lack there of is irrelevant. Wisdom can only be measured by the actions of the person or entity both positive AND negative that it took to accomplish ANY task.

The right time and the right place with just a simple, brilliant OR completely ignorant and outlandish idea can place even a common man in the maps of history where many ill informed or shallow people will outweigh the negatives with the possitive accomplishments to place a particular individual on a pedestal and label him as brilliant!

Besides the positives of the great accomplishments that this man achieved, you have to also weigh the negatives which in this case are tremendous. With the millions upon millions of innocent lives lost or TAKEN including woman and children, not in a sense of just casualties of war but as PURPOSELY beaten, starved, humiliated, and executed for a single idea that was completely outlandish, irrational and just plain ignorant greatly outweighs ANY positive accomplish of the rule of Hitler.

This supreme arrogance and stupidity hardly even in the slightest sense constitutes the label of "brilliant man" on any grounds. A better term? -Madman-
