I got a DWI and lost my license so I had to take the bus one day to see the Dr., boy it was bad cuz we had to go pick people up in the projects. That was my one and only time I walked everywhere else cuz every time I would ask anyone to take me any where they wanted 20 or 30 bucks, now that I think about it that was really shitty. Gas wasn't crazy priced back then, 1991.

Last week.
Even though the fiance has two trucks primarily for her business. When she is out working and I need or want to go to town I take public transportation, usually the bus.
Easy for me to jump in my scooter and then load into the bus. Drive out near my destination, do what I need to and then catch it again to get close to home. Bus stop is approx 1/4 mile from my house.
It makes perfect financial sense to me. I rarely used my van. Insurance alone was costing me 90.00 a month (great record), then registration that was close to 200.00 a year, depreciation of the value (was paid off), then gas and regular maintenance costs. Compared to a bus pass it is a no brainer so I sold the van.

Two days ago, moving back to Bulgaria in December so I sold my car. Friend of mine took me to the bank but I had to take the bus back, it's the first time in at least 5 years I guess. The funny part was walking from the bank to the bus stop
I realized I was the only white person there, there were two white kids at the bus stop though.

yesterday to get to my other job , bus stop right outside my place , costs me $1.50 for an all day ticket , so its cheaper and easier to jump on the bus , takes me about 20mins to get to work

I used it a couple times a week. I don't drive so I used to use them nearly daily but my flatmate has a car so we use that for shopping, etc. I take the bus if there is somewhere local I have to go and the car isn't available or if I am in central London and can't be bothered with the tube. Driving in central London is pointless so the bus does me fine.

I haven't been on a city bus in ages. Although today, I went on a trip to the pumpkin patch with my daughters class and we took a school bus. It felt very odd to say the least lol. I think the last time I was on a school bus was when I was 8 yrs old

Wow, not for ten years. I always said if they just pimped out buses with leather seats ect. it would save the ozone. But they are crap to take now. I wouldn't drive in a car that had dirty ass plastic seats yet a bus.

When I do, I catch a bus or a taxi, I don't have a drivers licence nor do I plan on getting one. Not before we get kids, anyway.
