anybody running a site by verotel's ticketclub?

as i am working on building up my mebership site i was looking for a payment gateway, verotel came into my mind as i need no business account there.

is it easy to install?
how is support?
payments in time?

I have been using Verotel TicketsClub for years - they always pay on time.

Setup was quick and easy.

Support is great via live chat - a bit delayed via email.

You summed it up well.

I've had them on two sites for a year now. No problems. My ACH always come on time, or early. If you need help, don't bother to e-mail. Use live chat, or call the Dutchies.

Very easy to install the script, and you are off to the races. They also process a few things other billers do not seem to.

A solid choice.

For those using Ticketclub... how are the conversions? On paper, I've never really liked the idea. I've always thought surfers would be a little reluctant to sign up.

That was my thought initially too. I would say in the beginning after making the bill change that was the case. But after a few months, things picked up. I found , for me personally, the difference is in the delivery.

Basically you have to make your join page a bit more informative than normal because the ticketclub is so different than most on the initial page. Which I think scares off the noobs to your site.

I've never had a complaint from the member's in the year with them so far. My ACH deposits have always come on time, or early. But as I've always said in other threads, and as someone else posted in here,..

if you need help. Use live chat, or the telephone and call the Dutchies. They are a bit slow on the e-mail correspondance.

Thanks for the info. I've always thought pretty highly of Verotel itself and I knew they were solid. I just wasn't so sure about the idea of Ticketclub.

There's no question that the look and experience of signing up using TicketsClub may seem different to some purchasers, but it *really* helps to seguay your previews with a 'TicketsClub look' on links leading to it.

Surfers will be less distracted and the continuity from your tour to the TicketsClub signup will be smoother (and at higher conversion levels).

Correct.

With surfer to potential customer. Sometimes you have to hold their wittle hand and lead them to the payment processor. If you provide the information in the page(s) leading up to it, and explain this silly ticketsclub banner below is going to take you to the sign up/credit card page. These are the plans, etc, etc. It will help minimize the skerdy cats.

We use Tickets Club on a couple of our sites. They don't seem to be the surfer's first choice by any means, and a relatively small percentage of our sales come through them. However they've always paid on time, and we've not yet had any problems with them. Not sure I'd make them sole biller on a site, but definately worth it as a back up.

i won't promote sites that only use this ticketclub thing. just another hassle the surfer has to go through and its hard enough getting them to take out the CC in the first place.

you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

I use Verotel because of the nature of my content so it works for me. If you have a lot of EU, asian & UK traffic they have great options for those countries in terms of payments (which I have). The only complaint I have is their resellers interface is kind of confusing & some affiliates are deterred by it.
Support has been ok & fast enough. On time payments for 3 years now

Verotel set up is extremely easy compared to CCbill.
I actually gave up setting up ccbill myself and asked then to do it for me.

Verotel appears to have a better grip on processing foreign traffic.
The countries my members come from vary greatly than those I get from Ccbill. This could possibly mean more sign ups for your site.

CCbill has been around longer and appears very stable.
Very trusted by US traffic. Great support in my experience.
Plus affiliate referral program built in.(When you pay a fee to someone who refers an affiliate)

I use both and have a very good experience with both.

That doesn't make sense, then why would you pay to upgrade to a pro account? it sounds like something more than that is different about it. Is the tickets account a merchant account? or is the pro?

Visa restrictions and fees were the reason tickets club was invented.

Wanna save $1500, then use tickets club, other than that just pay the money and go pro.
