    US Helps Clean Radiation after Accidentally Dropping 4 Atomic Bombs on Spain

    i got a kick out of this...

    The Spanish Government has reached an agreement with the US to clean up radioactivity in the village of Palomares, on Spain?s south-east tip, after 4 US atomic bombs fell in the area after a midair collision 40 years ago.

    The accident took place in 1966 when a B-52 bomber collided with a flying tanker during refueling over Palomeras resulting in the dropping of 4 hydrogen bombs near the town.

          Although a very serious 'broken arrow', the safety devices on the nukes ensured they didn't go off. Now, had Spain accidently dropped 4 nukes, there would have been 4 explosions. The Spanish are simpletons compared to the good old Anglo Yanks
