honestly dont worry about this, give it a few days before you worry.. when google started updated recently my homepage completely dissapeared. I then convinced myself id done something wrong, no google traffic whatsoever.. just as i was really stressing all the pages reappeared in higher positions :-) i think this happens when google updates the index..

how the fuck were they spammy, I didnt spam them anywhere, i didnt put tons of keywords(most of them had 3each), i didnt put a bazillion links on them, yet boom.

I would mail a letter to google but it would probably go in their suggestion box

Data push. They do them like once a month now it seems. I had a lot of pages disapear from site: but still be in the index. Just a bug.

Now, if all your google traffic died, I'd say you got hit by a filter. Give it some time, do some tests. See what happens.
