PedoBear is hysterical, yes because it's absurd, and it's black humor. No different than all dark humor such as jokes about jews in ovens, domestic abuse, etc
people who laugh at PedoBear aren't laughing at real cases of child molestation - but at the absurdity of a big cartoon bear chasing after young girls.
dark humor, there are lots of scientific papers by academics explaining its role and why we like it.
