I got arrested saturday, tell me this aint some stupid shit...

My girl and I were arguing, she was trying to call her friends while crying and being all over dramatic making me look bad so I took her phone away from her. She started screaming like a crazy women so it scared me and I gave her the phone back. She thought it would be cool to call the cops for what reason I dont know??? She told them in almost these exact words... "we are arguing and I dont know what to do" so I think she is joking around to scare me but then sure enough three minutes later the cops come.

They brought me outside and handcuffed me, I was in total shock as to why they were doing this. My fiance started freaking out and said NO NO I dont want him arrested I just wanted to teach him a lesson. Well it turns out that if a girl calls the cops on her man in the state of California even if NOBODY laid a finger on the other person that an arrest HAS to be made.

What is the U.S coming to????

That seems to be standard procedure in a lot of states. In most "domestic" situations, even if the husband beats the wife into a bloody pulp, the second she see's her husband in handcuffs, she cries and freaks out because she already feels sorry for her. Its standard procedure cause they did not end up arresting the guys sometimes and listened to the wife and sure enough, 30 minutes later, the guy kills his wife. It's all part of the cooldown period or so.

Cops say the most dangerous situation they face are domestics, sometimes the wife will even go crazy and shoot at the police who are roughing up their husband.

It is a really great policy for those police to do that. In case the victim (if there was one) was scared to follow through after the cops were there and just made them leave imagine what could happen to him or her after the cops left, whoever she called the cops on originally could go apeshit and beat them to death. Blame your fiancé, not the cops.

This has nothing to do with the cops, your city, your state or your country. It has everything to do with your "girlfriend" being a dumb cunt. You need to get rid of her, she'll do it again. What the cops did is standard in MANY states and countries. And it's not an issue of sex, if the tables were turned and you called the cops they would have taken her to jail.

Now I am assuming she called 911, and if she did the cops did exactly what they should have done. 911 is for fucking EMERGENCIES. Life and death situations, not your girlfriend flipping out because you took the remote from her and changed the channel during Grey's Anatomy.

And I wasn't kidding about getting rid of her. If you live together, move out. Today she calls the cops, tommorow she buys and gun and just blows your fucking head off. Women are nuts like that.
