First: That is not the way a US naval ship identifies itself. There is no such ship as the US Lincoln. It's the USS Lincoln.

Second, and I looked this up to be sure. The Lincoln was in the Pacific until April of 95, when it then went to the Persian Gulf.

That's not the Atlantic.
