Everybody has been slaughtering it in terms of reviews.
I think it does have a lot to do with people having their hopes set too high.
I never considered this movie one of those "can't wait until it comes out" like the dark knight, star trek, and others.
I haven't seen it yet, but I don't expect that much of it.
Either way, it's got to be worth watching it even the once.. like I said for the special effects alone.
If you think this movie sucked,
wait until Public Enemies comes out.. it's going to be turrible

I was shocked that they didn't end Terminator Salvation by sending the "Arnold" terminator and Reese into the future. That way the saga would've been complete.Comment

I'm a huge fan, so I'll have to check that out.
Although I never saw Terminator III,

I also plan on seeing the new terminator, but part 3 was not that bad, especially the ending when the whole world basically goes to hell in a nuclear war. But I will wait to download the new one at mininova.Comment

That is what the ignorant do these days, the go watch movies and laugh because they are to retarded to understand what they are watching.
His appearance gives us a time frame of Skynets advancement. The movie deals mostly with the T-600 series of terminators. Did you not notice they were much bulkier and crude looking? Probably not. When we see Arnold coming out of the chamber, last stage of the assembly line, it is letting the intelligent people in the audience know something important.
What is that, you ask?
That the first series of T-800 terminators are just rolling off the assembly line. If you can remember this is the same model of terminator from the first movie. But what clue is that giving us you ask?
That we have yet, or at least John Connor, has yet to reach that critical point in the Terminator franchise where the ultimate decision to send back someone or something to protect himself from the future. This is also hinted at by having Kyle Reese so young and not yet a part of the resistance.
Hate a movie all you want at least don't do it standing behind a shield of idiocracy. See avatar!

Nope, I have just seen the movies like anyone else and paid attention. I don't have the movies on DVD or anything like that and actually I had to look up the model number of the robots to explain my point.

Plot was a major disappointment, (like a bunch of mini-stories). The ending was like the 2nd Matrix, they made it very apparent there will be more sequels. Special effects were badass though. Christan Bale was using his batman voice through-out the entire movie. He didn't make for a good John Connor IMO.┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
