I've brought up similar things about other programs. Shady billing descriptors, pre-checked and sometimes hidden cross sales.
I was burned in effigy for a few pages, told that I didn't understand real business, blah blah.
They get away with it because there is lax oversight. The people who are supposed to be keeping an eye on them (the gateway provider) are making money from this too, so what's their incentive to shut it down?
By the time the banks or card associations step in to shut it down, they've already made a shitload of money and leave behind a corporation with no assets to attach.
6 months later, they'll start up a new company and do it again...and the sheep that are the GFY bro club, will come in and defend them again, because the program will buy them a drink or a lapdance at a convention.
