    True some people do not want children, but why would you agree to have one and than make those rude hurtful comments?

    If you do not want children than don't have them it is your right but at the same time if you do have them be prepared to deal with what comes with them, the good and the bad...

    And as a parent it is usually much more good than bad.

                You started off saying you love your wife. I'm assuming you would not have fallen in love with and married someone who you thought was looking to deliberately ruin your life and your finances.

                It seems a little like you came to GFY hoping that people would validate your thought that the problems you are having would justify an affair and you got angry when people didn't approve of that.

                If you love your wife and you are just kind of traumatized, you should talk to a therapist, a good friend, your wife, etc. Fantasize during the act as needed. Read about what other men have gone through in your situation. Work through it and fix the relationship.

                If you don't want to work through your issues and just want an excuse to reject your wife's sexual advances, cheat on her, and be hateful to your child, then you kinda deserve to get taken to the cleaners in divorce court.

Women are, for the most part, not well suited to accept reality or to think logically. So of course she decides to give birth naturally. Selfish cunt. What about me?

                                        Sounds to me like you are the selfish ass here, not her. You would rather her go thru surgery that is a potential risk as well as a longer and more painful recovery to keep you happy.

                                        I always thought marriage was about 50/50 and encouraging, loving and supporting the other partner no matter what.

                                        Sounds to me like she got the raw end of the deal.

                                            Reality is that birth has been happening for a few generations now, and many people would rather do it the tried-and-true way than have their bodies sliced down the middle to have what's inside taken out. Surgery carries its own risks and consequences. It sounds like you two didn't discuss it thoroughly enough. Either you didn't impress upon her your desire for her to have a c-section and the reasoning behind it, or she didn't impress upon you her desire to have a natural birth and the reasoning behind that. Looks like a failure to communicate here.

                                            But what do I know.

                                            Apparently I have a rule book now. Men are no more tools than are women, in my book. They are all just people, trying to do their best and trying to find someone to share their lives with.
