As odds are high,you've never driven a Lamborghini,I will explain it.The Gallardo and the Murcielago are very different cars.The Murcielago is actually quite large.It doesn't handle as well as the Gallardo.The Murcielago will accelerate faster from 0-60 than the Gallardo.Believe it or not,I know Lamborghini owners that have 9 figure bank accounts and can afford whatever it is they want.Some prefer the daily drivability of the Gallardo.
I could've easily bought the Murcielago at the time.I liked the Gallardo better.The next Lamborghini I get though very well might be a Murcielago.However,I will keep the Gallardo too.

Ok let me just throw in one aspect.
If the website is completely made up and the guy just wants to hide his fuckup and get Lamborghini to pay for a new car, then why the fuck is this site still online?
Dont tell me Lamborghini doesnt care, because if the website is so popular as you said "every Lambo/Ferrari/Porsche/Exotic Car site has seen it" then it receives at least as much popularity that Lamborghini SHOULD care.
This being said I fail to understand why anybody who knows that he made a mistake would make such a huge affair about a thing.
On the other hand, lets assume his website and his incident is true as he is telling it, and assume your were in his position, wouldnt you do anything possible to achieve justice?
In my eyes he is clearly doing that and nothing else.
Theres too many of those "incidents" to blame them all on driver error.
