    My credit card got closed!!!

    I hope this does not effect my credit. The company is closing all accounts. I actually over pay that account so there is a positive balance. yeah don't ask. but had a 30k limit built up and now I get to start over some where else.

                      Hi Slapass,

                      If I remember correctly Advanta never reported business accounts to personal credit reports.

                      I belive they reported to biz credit reports, i.e. dnb,experian, and mabey equifax biz credit.

                      I don't think you have much to worry about..

                              I have shut down most of my credit cards because of the bs being pulled by some of these banks. I'm not going to be caught at a business dinner and have my card declined for a $500 meal because some automated system decides to reduced credit limits or shut the card down. I've heard some ridiculous stories lately.

                              That on top of 2 cards having their rates jacked up in the last year out of the blue even though I use them and pay them off regularly. Fucking bs.

                              Been using 3 debit cards recently with peace of mind.

                                      I can get another card. I have other cards. But 30k limit, nope, only had the one. 1% cash back on all purchases with no limit. Nope, they were the best I found. 4 days notice to move all reocuring charges. Really this sucks. I am totally amazed they could not sell the better accounts.

                                              I do not believe business accounts effect your personal, in regards to credit cards/lines, etc..

                                              I could be wrong, but I remember then explaining to me when I was getting my business credit card, as well we bank explaining it when I was setting up my accounts.
