Actually, MS **DID** indeed let passport.com expire. There was some open source (or something) programmer that paid for the domain since it kept hotmail from working. MS eventually sent him like a $500 check for his troubles, which IIRC he auctioned off on ebay for charity.

I was also using Brujah's site before until it turned a paysite. Directnic is free, why bother paying.
