Alot of people think that North Korea is doing this to get the attention of the US...it may be partially true, but remember Japan and Korea hate each other just as much, and they are alot closer together geographically...and don't forget the anamosity between North Korea and South Korea....

I just hope George Bush doesn't try some fucked up shit to try and save the day....they should follow the lead of Japan or South Korea and not try to get their hands into anyone's business too soon...

i think he's smart enough to do this diplomatically and to not fuck around with another country that has nuclear capabilities...but then again...

anyway, i believe the US might be a little hesitant to rush into things because of our current problems and situations...

China will lay down the law if they have to. While China isn't exactly eye to eye with the west on everything, I think they would step up if the situation gets worse. They aren't going to let something in their backyard get out of control.
