Last night I watched how a reporter kept stopping Marines in the middle of the battle and asked them how they feel about shooting kids and women. They had to stop the recording because one of the Marines close by was shot and killed. He never even asked the Marines name so he could say hi to his wife.
My sons best friend is with the same unit, so here is my thought about reporters.
1, There is no place for Live Reporting in the war.
2, I believe reporters put our marines in danger by stopping and interviewing them while under fire.
3, If a reporter gets shot its a "terrorist act" but if one of the coalition members is shot its just war
4, Reporters are going to war, if they get shot oh fucking well
5, Reporters are only out to get the best ratings and really don't give a shit about anything else.
6, I believe that all streams should be censored by the military until the war is over so they cannot endanger our soldiers just to get a story out.
Sorry, just pissy today, listening to them cry about their reporter getting his ass shot. He didn't have to be there, he wanted to be there.
