Goodbye Curiouscash.Ok, a report back from me as always.
After a thorough investigation it appears Jimmy (nicedreams) is a wanker.
Now, as an aside, CuriousTim has asked me many times over the years to not be so quick to reply to board posts until the real story is known, but he also knows that I ALWAYS respond and ALWAYS follow things up. That is the way it should be be in my mind, and how I have operated ALWAYS in my 10 years in this biz. Ask anyone who actually knows me.
So, the story is:
- Jimmy has contacted the CuriousCash office MANY times (but never me).
- We have endeavored to save this situation during those communications.
- Jimmy is claiming that he is still owed about $105 from since around 2002, which then adds up to his claim he should be paid.
I don't know about other programs, but CuriousCash only has to retain tax records for 5 years, and we have revamped the program more than a couple of times in the last 7 years (this is our 10th year out of interest).
One would think that 2009 is a little bit late for someone to start thinking about chasing $105.
We simply can't check payments that were made that far back, and I doubt many programs could.
I would of thought a good webmaster would of checked with us with in a MUCH smaller time span than letting things get out of control and then check 7+ years later for $105.
In fact CuriousCash did not implement MPA3 until around that time (2002/2003), so it is quite possible that IF the debt is in fact owed, IT IS WITH A CCBILL ACCOUNT.
So Jimmy, without seeming rude, you are a fucktard. Please feel free to take your traffic elsewhere.

I fucking well hate it when idiots post shit over multiple boards in some vain hope that there own shortcomings will be ignored when discovered.
So Jimmy, consider this the official CuriousCash response to you, on EVERY board you posted on you numbnut, as I am not even going to bother sending you a email.
I spend my time HELPING affiliates who need help, not hand holding morons, and I ALWAYS respond and I ALWAYS help.
Jimmy, you fail, now fuck off.
Now anyone out here who thinks this is an unreasonable approach is welcome to add their 2c and I will be more than happy to respect their opinion so long as they are happy to respect mine.
I am sure there are a LOT of program peeps out there who KNOW only too well what it is like to have some idiot go running to the boards when a contact page gives people ALL they need to get onto people in any number of ways (FYI, and to save you having to find it to try and prove me wrong - http://www.curiouscash.com/contact.php).
Jimmy, a final word of advice - sometimes it is better to stay silent and be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I'll help keep this on top.
I have some sponsors that I don't actively promote and payouts are spread far apart. There are many reasons for this, but I'm not getting into them because its not important.
It makes no sense to me why a sponsor would treat an affiliate this way.
Think about it:
1) Did not pay the affiliate for his traffic.
2) Did not respond to the affiliate despite multiple attempts (basically ignored affiliate).
3) Attempted to insult and belittle affiliate on a large internet forum.
I don't dare send traffic to a program if I feel there is a risk for any of the above. These are warning signs of possible bad things to come. If I were sending traffic before any of this happened I have to believe I'd be scaling back eliminating links, not adding new ones, etc. Wing myself off the program.
Here is bump for the affiliate. One hundred dollars is one hundred dollars in my book.7Comment

wow ..I fucking read 11 pages phew!
I found the answer from CTB quite annoying aswell and I have been seeing this more often when sponsors are messing up payments and stop to care about loyal affiliates unless they can produce 6-7+ sales per day.
Sadly in this matter the $105 costed CTB alot of trust and maybe affiliates ( Who knows if they even care )
Creds to AEBN tho who came into the thread without owing Jimmy a fucking dime and still offering him the cash, well infact people know AEBN is a program without ( what I know ) any flaws.
As for taking the traffic elsewhere...I know I would if I signed up with CTB.
Take this example for instance..it has been alot of "stuff" around Twistys lately but one thing I respect is that Shap is here very quick and trying to resolve any matter nomatter how small the affiliate is.
( No I am not trying to hype AEBN nor TwistysCash but atleast AEBN gave a response in this thread, and Shap/Twistys c&o's tend to do when its things around their program...more than you can say about CTB )
All I am saying is goodluck to you Jimmy and in the future..do a lookup on the programs you will choose further on!

yeah reading a 11 page thread is a bitch haha.. I'm glad I came in on the thread early on..
It is sad that more and more programs are having this attitude of not caring about the small affiliates.. Me I love small affiliates cause give me 5 small affiliates and they can make more sales then a large one. And for every program you have more small affiliates than large ones so it stands to reason you treat the small ones just as good as the big ones and sales will flow.Comment
