I had similar symptoms, turned out to be a pinched nerve in my neck. That being said... those symptoms are not something to ignore. Stroke and heart attack...? Go get yourself checked out.

Numb left arm and a feeling of heaviness in that arm is a symptom of a heat attack or problem. If it is, time is your enemy. The longer you wait for treatment the more damage is done to the heart muscle. Not saying that is your problem, I'm not a docotr + what else is going on with symptons (rapid heart beat, blood pressure etc.).
With that symptom, the ER is likely going to give you rapid attention, so I doubt if you would have to wait long? Tell 'em it is a little worse than it is to get a response....
There is a small blood test that tells a lot right away. Then there is an ECG, another simple test.
People have heart attacks in their 20s and 30s. I had a heart attack at age 38! Came close to checking out cause I waited to long.
My advice is better safe than sorry.
If it was bad enough to post, it is worth a trip to the ER.Comment

I was chain smoker before the heart attack... Drank to much too. Prolly still do, but way less than when I was younger.

Go to ER man! My left arm went half paralysed one day and I went to the doc
after 3 days and she said I had a stroke. So I went to ER, spent a week in
hospital with a numb arm thinking I'd be paralysed for life, then one morning
I woke up and it was back to normal! Best day of my life.Comment

other symptoms for those interested include but not limited to:
numb arm (that could be a stroke too)
sweats/chills
pain in chest
pain between shoulder blades (center of back)
rapid heart beat (90 beats a minute is rapid - just a lay opinion)
shortness of breath
nausea
high bp
shallow filling in throat
tightness in jaw
Those are some. WebMD prolly has some info. Sheeet every time I go to the web and start looking things up, I end up some some deadly disease.
My only qualification is I've had heart problems for 20 years, I'm not a doctor. Have had a couple three maybe false alarms to the ER.Comment
