Notary Public Question.
Are there guidelines for what a Notary of the Public can notarize? If i simply put Notary Public signature field, can a Notary Public sign and stamp? or are there guidelines?

Every state has their own guidelines.
Most you have to sign in person. -
I've never seen one that will sign off and stamp unless they see you sign in front of them.. That is unless you have one that's a friend of yours.

well im sayin if i write notary public's signature _________ to require that a notary public witness the person who im getting to sign a document's signature.

I think anything. I once used one on a contract for when I sold a domain.Ever notice that pretty much everything added to the Constitution after the original was a mistake.Comment

Been one for years, was never told there was anything I could not notarize.
