    Cyprus and porn legality

    hi there,

    I'm looking for some info on the legality of pornography and Cyprus,
    does anyone here do business from there?
    do you know if that country authorizes Porn?,
    if so under what conditions? is it different than say any other European country?

              There is a lot of porn companies in Cyprus, I think like most people in this business you tend to keep quiet about what you do no matter where you are but to answer your question yes.

                                      the dilemna is that we heard it may be a good idea to set up our corporate offices in Cyprus, there seems to be some cool incentives with financials BUT wanted to get your input on this :

                                              I was born and grew up in Cyprus.
                                              I know a few Adult companies with "Offices" there, but know of no-one producing there.
                                              Half the Island is Greek and Half is Turkish, both have different rules and laws so be careful.
                                              Consult a GOOD lawyer there before doing anything. It is one of the most Beautiful places on the planet and the food rocks.

                                                      If you are doing it to avoid civil liability or lawsuits in general and you are in the US, generally off shore companies do not provide much protection, unless you also live there.

                                                      Once you bring assets back into the US, they are subject to confiscation under a judgment.
