Anti directory? I have used directories in mainstream and adult, for years. With great success.

I use directories, I suggest you do as well. They are f'in great for getting free backlinks, even if they nofollow, it's worth it, even if the dir sucks ass, it's worth it.

Here is a trick; It's not hard to find the shit directories over the better ones. So start with shit, submit to 20 of them, as they list you, list every directory that lists you, the direct page that has your link on it, on a free hosted blog.

Now it's not shit.. Now it has value.

Dump the 20 off your site, and add 20 good ones. Once those list, put the other active directories back, and set them to rotate. Out of all 40 though, less than 20 will prob have listed you. As long as you do it in steps, you can clear the trash out.

List these on your free host blog too.

So in a short period of time, you slap together a blog, sponsor feeds... load it up with dir's, list them on your alt site. After a bit of time you will get a PR, once you get rank, go out and get hard-link exchanges first, that will build you even more. Once you have some traffic, mix in traffic exchanges.

Even if you only get listed on 2 directories, put those 2 dir listings on a free host, and your blog will get a pr1 the next update, and is ready for exchanges.
