yup 100% agree! About a month ago I picked up another server and the sign up form took me to AmeriNoc and I was like WTF and emailed them asking if they were offloading the shared hosting or something.. was glad to find out it is still the same staff just a different name
I myself like phatservers better cause it's what I've used over 6 years and will find it hard to remember the new name of my host

Well I know you can add them yourself in DA, but last time I used Phat I had to do it in DA, then email support for them to add the DNS entries... That was time consuming and annoying.
What I mean is, can I now add a domain to my account and see it as soon as DNS updates on my end or do I have to email them like before?Comment

Phatservers is a great company with awesome service. They are super fast, like within two minutes sometimes, to answer support inquiries. I have a dedicated server with them and am very happy. That being said Phatservers is a better name than AmeriNOC!Comment

It is but it's also boring, people will remember the name phatservers way more likely than just another typical corp name. I seriously doubt they've actually lost customers because their name isn't some typical corp name. Hell look at google, when you think about it the name sounds ridiculous but that didn't stop them and a lot of other companies.
