20 years ago, when I lived in Toronto, four Tamils told me they were shaken down by the Tigers to help support "the cause" for years and that every Tamil in Toronto was forced to give every month too. I bet since then, the Tigers have even got more sophisticated at shaking down the community like using a database to send out letters saying their "health insurance" is overdue.
