Using your ePassporte card is kind of dicey since the issuing bank is in another county. I have yet to find a retailer where I normally shop that will accept my ePass card.

No promises. I just know it worked last year.
I am pretty certain the instant card generated by paypal is rechecked by paypal versus your info or whatever. Since I had no problems with places that wont ship stuff to addresses not on the card file or whatever.

I also swore CL accepted online checks.

As far as I know, craigslist does not have my $5, and it'll take a long time for the pending $5 to drop off.. right?

the $5 is like a guarantee you have $5 to cover a charge. So instead of charging you $5 its a verification there is $5 there if it needs to be charged.

And pending charges take FOREVER to drop from Epassporte. That is annoying.
Or they want some kind of form, usually from the idiots who put the pending charge on there.

CL put a pending charge on your card and then declined the transaction for some reason which could be you use a card not issued in the USA.

Since its a debit card and the merchant have 30 days to settle any authorizations we have to hold the money for 30 days. We can drop the Pending transaction before if we get a fax from the merchant on their company letterhead, with the Auth ID, stating that they will not complete the transaction and it have to be signed.
