So they give their hosts "free" webspace for their own personal websites, lots of people work very hard on them... even direct their own personal url's to the site to make them seem more important. And their servers suck ass, we all know that. Improvements? Fuck no. So they turn the "mysites" into a fucking avs.
Luckily for myself, I jumped off their platform a while back and have my own site far, far away from their servers. This is quite upsetting for any of the chathosts that have spent a lot of time learning html and doing their own sites, but how uncool is it to just do this AVS shit now. Someone found the fucking signup form, but there has yet to be posted ANY info to the people who OWN the fucking sites as to what our cut is going to be. Its like the fucking voyeur view, the implemented that, start charging 7 bucks a month for it, and dont give shit to the people providing the content.
iFriends has turned into a fucking content farm. I understand they have $$$ done well for a lot of people here, but I have been a host there, and all this site does is ram their fist up all the chathosts assholes, and act as though they are doing them a favor.
I suppose I am just posting this to spread the 411, not sure how it will affect anyone unless you've spent hours designing and creating a nice web site and put it on their servers.
So when is someone gonna duplicate ifriends GOOD points and make another big site like theirs?? I know 100's of top chathosts that would jump on it, several girls of which in the thousands of dollars a week, and thats their half.
It sure is shitty to see them constantly keeping the talent in the dark like this. Fucking content farm, thats what that place is. What I have left of a site there is coming down in about five minutes.
