lets say we have 2 almost identical twins.

both eat the same and the conditions of the experiment are close to perfect.

twin A drinks 10 smirnoff ice
twin B drinks 10 heineken beers

now we would test their breath and blood alcohol percentage.

which of those 2 would be more drunk?

i think the smirnoff kicks in more because of the ammount of sugar in it...

but on a serious note: one bottle of these mixed vodka drink costs 5 euros here in germany (in a normal store, no club)

i rather buy a whole bottle of 100% vodka in a club for 50euros and drink it

even the headache will be less the next day

smirnoff has a higher alcohol % and alot more sugar... i'd say that will get you more drunk then heineken..

what's better is you empty half a bottle of smirnoff ice, and dump vodka in it... a six and bottle of vodka later, you're good to go!

If the alcohol % are the same the one that has the least calories will make you more drunk.

Smirnoff has 228 cal (per 12 oz) and normal beer 145 (per 12 oz), so the beer will make you more drunk.

that also depends on the location, the alcohol percentage changes based on local laws. like in Utah the max alcohol is something like 4%.

By way of a serious answer, the bloodstream absorbs alcohol most readily (on an empty stomach) when it is drunk in a concentration of around 22% by volume. Higher and lower levels of alcohol (the latter particularly in the case of high-volume drinks such as beer), are absorbed more slowly.

Usually, the peak blood-alcohol level is reached about 30 minutes after drinking has finished, although it can be as much as 2 hours later, depending on how much was drunk how quickly, if food was eaten before or during drinking, and all this also varies according to the sex and weight of the drinker.

Depending on those and other conditions, it is occasionally possible for someone to continue drinking, absorbing alcohol at the same rate as it is being metabolized. In all circumstances, overt evidence of drunkenness depends on the individual reaction to alcohol (at least initially), more than the amount of alcohol consumed.

Around here, Smirnoff Ice is 7% and Heineken is 5% (if I remember correctly). So the Smirnoff Ice would do the job faster, technically.
