..but I'm pretty sure the ONLINE GAMBLING wasn't the first thing you've had taken away if US is moving towards that direction... it's a LOT of small things the government would take away gradually, without you noticing the full picture until they've accomplished what they're set to do. That's what I would do if I wanted to create a police state/dictatorship.

You CAN'T do something like that overnight.

      The signs are all there.

what do you mean when you say it ain't regulated?

Why should the government profit from this?

        4 addiction:
up against 70% of all game addicted people are addicted to slut machines and not poker. Poker holds a very little part of the addiction. Poker Addiction is not a problem when you hold it up against the problems created from games which the government profit from and therefore makes it alright. ( slut machines and the likes of it )
A lot easier then in casinos ...
Somebody with lots of identities and an elaborate setup could setup some bots with 3-4 players in the same room calculating the oods and betting when it's time.

Most casinos don't give a shit...

2nd : If you have ever played poker online, lots of compagnies are setup to have a lot of bad beats, that way you bet more... It's very easy not to make things fair for the compagnies and turn profit to their advantage. Not everyone of them are public compagnies.

3rd : The gov just profits from everything... if it can't profit, then it's no good.

4: Where do you get your stats ? I know plenty of people addicted to poker...

Going the anti-governement way is the best way for an industry to get hit.

I don't know about you but I rather spend my money somewhere where my gov will see a part of the money back instead of a forgein country where the money simply goes out of the country.

This is bad for the economy and killing the US right now... (trade deficit).

Everybody is freaking that the gov wants to hit on porn ... but how much shady stuff have we done and not been punished for ?

This isn't too cool but I can totally understand the gov's point of view.

i totally agree that drugs and gambling should be legal and gov regulated...

The founds the gov is not getting in their pockets is COSTING tax payers money and giving criminal more ways to do crimes.

2nd. I have played well over 50k hands at partypoker and all are placed in pokertracker. I can assure that you are 100% wrong, the stats add up in the long run.
It is your imagination that tells you the room is rigged, Just play a large amount of hands and analyze it and you will see what I mean. 50k will do just fine.

Why the fuck should the government profit from this??
              explain this to me.

The stats are from a danish newspaper.
