                                i used to be a swimmer at international level until 5 months ago, and i quit this sport after 15 long years doing it.

                                in the competetions, for example Olympics, there are 8 lanes and they put the swimmer with the fastest entry time to the lane #4. you can always see the guys in the middle going faster than the ones at the side lanes.
                                on icq i used this nick for years but webmasters kept on calling me "Lane" so i decided to use it on the boards.
