    Front page in the Chicago Tribune's business section...

    ...for one of my sites. Result: traffic up 30%, increased member joins by 40%, sales are up 25% and the traffic keeps coming, as the article was reprinted in the Fort Lauderdale Sentinel, and even a San Francisco Chronicle.

    So when was the last time your site got a newspaper plug? Lawsuit reports and mugshots don't count.

                      We had write ups in the Daily News, New York Time and local papers.We also appeared on MSNBC LIVE and TECH TV , so I know how good that can be for you.

                          That kicks ass. One of my sites actually was featured on my.yahoo as a feed of the day last year. I couldn't believe my eyes what that did in terms of traffic.

                                  What is fucked up is when they dont tell you that it is going to happen and your server takes a shit and people get 404's or whatever. That has happened to too many people I know. Sucks.

                                                          i used to run a message board for people in my community. that got mentioned a few times in the paper. mostly over the slanderous things people would post. i had to shut the site down.
