    how can I make millions being the middle man in blog advertising? [brainstorming]

    Being thinking about this for the past 3 and a half minutes and I can't come up with the right idea.


    This is what I'm thinking: people buy adds on TGPs/MGPs, they buy the right to post galleries (partner accounts) as well. Why don't people buy adds on blogs to the same extent? Because blogs have (on general) less traffic.


    So I want to create a site which brings the blog owners and the people that want to buy ads together. What should the system be? How should it be organised? What would make blog owners happy? Selling links on their blogs (for a certain period - say a month, three, a year)? Would you (the blog owners) allow other people to post on your blog (following certain rules of course) for a fee?


    And last but not least how can I (the middleman) make money - take say 10% from the money paid, 5%, 3%??? Or any other way?


    What should the system have (as features) to make blog owners and advertisers happy?


    Has anybody done anything like it so I can simply take a look at it and copy it?

      GTS is doing it.

      also you buy plugs (blog posts) on the blogs and if you came up with a system to do do that like choker (x views per post for $x.xx) you would be a millionaire!

                                  hm, all I see is a link to buyblogtraffic.com? Not exactly what I'm thinking.

                                  They have few very big blogs there (unles I'm missing someting), I'm thinking of doing the same (selling hard links or posts) with 1000s of small(er) blogs...

                                  Anywas I'll figure it out on my own ;)

                                          there's a bit more to blogs than traffic, that's why I'm thinking hard links and plugs (posts) is the best option, so this is what it's goint to be:

                                          - blogs that can participate - at least PR3 or 500 (1000? more?) uniques per day, they can choose their own price for a hard link (for amonth, 3, a year etc) and per plug + their own rules (or if 2 lazy to set their own rules I'll have general rules for plugs and links)

                                          - advertisers - they choose what they want to buy and pay me, and I pay the blog owners, I take %-age . What should that be? What's ok 5%, 10%, 2%???

                                          - I'll have the blogs organised in categories which we'll give the advertisers extremely targeted traffic


                                          Q and possible pitfalls:

                                          what should the paying methods be? epassporte seems the easiest choice but then ...... what about possible scammers? I def. don't want these going trough my personal epassporte account, probably have to open a business one ?!
