I watched this show the other day about clever criminals , and this one dude would write himself checks with invisible ink , so he would cash the check for $2000 on the weekend knowing they send the checks over on monday and on monday some of the ink vanishes and the check says $200 so they only deduct $200 yet he got $2000 ( the numbers may have been diff but you get the idea )hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

I don't know this for fact but, I am wondering if the card he used was not a standard card at all, but a card used by a maintenance tech so when inserted into the machine it knows this is a tech and he puts in his code, the machine recognizes it and goes into programing mode.
might have been a standard card but he knew how to modify it.

I have a friend who withdrew 500$ from an atm when the previous customer forgot to take the card and left. The screen was still displaying "would you like to do another transaction". He press $500 and got it. 2 years later he still talks abt this story to me. I told him the camera was fake no worries abt it. And for a period of 2 years whenever he sees a patrol car near his house, he panic.

Some soda vending machines have a similar option that is accessed by hitting the selection keys in a certain order, then you can change the price of all the cans of soda to a nickle.
Most ATM machines in gas stations arent owned by a bank, they are owned by some guy who makes money off the fees. The guy is prolly using a service code, should put a little bit of research into this. Could be worthwhile.
Now, the stupid fuck should have set it back to the proper operation and they likely would have NEVER figured it out unless he really went wild, or unless the company counts down the machine every time they filled it.
Fuck banks and insurance companies. They deserve it.Comment
