Often times when they ask that (at least in my case) it'll actually jog your memory and you can remember the last place you had the item at, then you can just backtrack and hopefully find it.

I can jog my memory without those silly questions. But usually i am not trying to search for it. There would be time when it will appear somewhere. I think that things never disappear by itself.

I think that was English. I really do. It's close, and has several of the commonly used guttural noises.
