    Learn something new every day

I stopped buying books of postage stamps years ago. With online billpay and such I don't send much by mail anymore. I needed to mail something today ..ended up going to the post office instead of to the little local shop I normally use. Clerk asked me if I wanted to buy a book of stamps. I told her why I didn't.

Lo and behold.. over a year ago they came out with non-denominated "Forever" stamps. No matter what the price of postage changes to, they are always good. Hmmm.. investment possibilies? By them at 42cents each now and the way US Postage goes up in a few years you could double your investment. Better than the stock market.

It's actually going up to 44 cents in 10 days (5/11) so they are selling like crazy now.

I send a lot of greeting cards so I like to buy the pretty stamps. The "Forever stamp" is ugly so I'll just keep on paying the extra

Could be an investment possibility. Interesting...
