It came out in Asia before the USA (and online before Asia - heh) and it's worth checking out. Action packed. Stick around until after the credits for a few minutes of footage that doesn't really mean much but it's there anyway.

How is the story and acting in it. I was hoping it was not too overdone with the action crap, and had a bit more to offer.

The thing I liked about the workprint was seeing the rough cut of the film. No justification for not seeing it in theater, I had no plans to watch the movie in theaters. You can get off your high horse and don't act like you never downloaded a song, album or movie without purchasing it afterwards.Comment

I saw the 12am opener last night and the place was packed! I have not seen any of the other X-Men movies and was not aware this was a prequel until about half-way through when I started picking up on what was going on. Overall I enjoyed it, great action and it brought back so many childhood memories from the old cartoon. Now I gotta see the X-men movies!Comment

I thought it was great... Lots of good fresh X-men fun. Gambit's effects were badass.
After all that waiting I expected something more... I wish Marvel would stop putting stuff at the end of the credits so I can stop sitting there like an idiot while the theatre cleaning crew is going through and the lights are on... Even worse was when I eagerly waited through Dark Knight for something
