I liked your ambush interview and though I don't agree with everything you post, I'm curious how you feel about the bill in question. I'm not talking about how suspected terrorists should be interrogated. I'm more curious about your feelings on how openly the bill can classify someone as a terrorist and how little recourse such a person has to any defense.

I take it your not from here because if you were, you would know our hospitals arent run by our government, they are private businesses and we want to keep them that way.
As for our schools, yes its shame they are failing our youth and as much as it pains me to say. The Repubs keep trying push a system which is very similar to the system that is used in The Netherlands (vouchers) but too many forces are fighting them. This subject, US schools could be a whole other thread.

What is this popularity poll you speak of? If you mean what other countries think of us, I kindly say FUCK YOU. I vote for US leaders who do what is right for the US, not what makes us "popular" with foreign countries.

Last time I checked the Taliban/Al Queda isnt a signee of the Geneva Convention, so how is it a violation if both parties involved arent even members?

First off, the economy isn't just the dow. In case you haven't noticed there have been a few layoffs going on lately. Lets see, GM, Ford, Intel just to name a few. The housing market has gone into the shitter and our deficit is at an all time high, plus we are spending 2 BILLION a week in Iraq. Yep the economy is rocking!

As for the schools, the no child left behind bs has just made schools teach to just pass the stupid tests. All it's doing is turning out more dumb southern mullet wearing Walmart shopping republicans.
