    So how do I spend it best?

                                          No I tried it with content and the sign ups we got were negligible and the traffic poor.

                                          Got a better idea though.

                                          100% payouts for the sign ups you send over the sign ups you sent last month. So if you sent none and send one you get $30.

                                          If you send ten in September and send 100 in October you get 65% on 10 and 100% on the 11th.

                                          This pushes the existing to do a bit better.

                                              You need to think in terms of creating hype.

                                              These "get paid for every post" contest threads or the like won't seperate you from the rest, and higher payouts are a dime a dozen these days, and do little to gain added exposure or get you new affiliates.

                                              Spend 3k of GFY top banner spot.
                                              Spend 5k on sigs.
                                              Spend 2k on a unique contest.

                                              Wrap in a couple of press releases, a creative publicity stunt, plus a unique contest concept, and you're gold.

                                                                                                  I was posting on his board in reply to people asking SPECIFICALLY about a model featured on our site, some were exclusive to us. I did not start threads, I rarely replied to the thread, just gave them a link to the girls model page or a gallery. A link his surfers were asking for. I had surfers replying to my posts.

                                                                                                  If he does not want to work his board I thought I would try it. The traffic from the board with my work was negligible, he was sending 1-2 sign ups a month. He banned me from posting, big fucking deal.

                                                                                                  I will not bother about a guy sending 1-2 sign ups a month and does not want me to work his board.

                                                                                                                      If the conversion went worse it mean the new tours were shity .

                                                                                                                      It took me a while to get the concept of what will improve the conversion and what wont . Design level wont change a thing . In your case i can advice you to put 30-40 seconds movie clips of your videos at your video tour , you'll be supprised of how much it will improve your conversion .

                                                                                                                                              On affiliates traffic in September we did 1-500 over all, on all traffic we did better. But a lot of that is old members rejoining and traffic sources I'm keeping quiet about.

                                                                                                                                              It's also improving since we opened up the tour to show the whole site. We have a 100 page tour.

                                                                                                                                              So I don't think the tour does so badly.

                                                                                                                                              But the idea of the video clips is good, will update the clips.

                                                                                                                                              I would really like to convert more, because I think that's more important then getting traffic, but not sure how to make a big improvement.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Uhm why would you disadvantage existing affiliates? They are the ones you need to take care of in the first place. Create happy affiliates and bump the affiliate referral from 5 to 10%. Ad a contest where the person who reffers the new webmaster with the highest number of signups in a specific time period gets an extra k or two.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Get a programmer to create a brandable gallerie system (backgroundcolor adjustable + a top banner with the folowing text: "teenpaysite.com presents Paul Markham Teens"). Ad a brandable "portal" that features all the galleries with the look and feel of a real paysite plugin. Enough pictures on the galleries to make it real enough and just enough content to make sure surfers will have an urge to join the paulmarkhamteens site (I suggest 1 gallerie with 25-30 pics per model). Increase the urge by offering a small dicount on the regular price that's "only available to members of thisteensite.com".
                                                                                                                                                                                              Paysite owners link from their site to the portal with their affiliate id and get their % for evey signup generated.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  It's growing at a very nice rate. They come back for the updates, problem is we can't shoot more and most content providers are poor. But I have any budget I like for new content for the paysite.
