If a sponsor has 1:10.000 conversion and their promo tools have about 5% CTR and another sponsor has 1:2.000 conversion but their promo tools have less than 0.25% CTR, then the 1:10.000 conversion sponsor is the winner. Even having worse conversion the extra CTR on their promo tools makes it more profitable than the good converting sponsor.
It's a pity most sponsors don't invest properly on promo tools nowadays.
