Still too new and unknown for most I guess.
Led technology does seem to be gaining over lcd & plasma in the near future because of it's price and quality.
Plasma has a live span of xxxxx hours max. where led doesn't and lcd is inferior

It's pricier. Is it cheaper to make and will eventually be cheaper than LCD and Plasma?

Plasma serves up to about 10 years. More than enough if you ask me.

If a person takes the life span of a Plasma into consideration when buying a TV they're probably not ready to give up their black and white TV yet.

I definetly hope so. Led is so much thinner and better in quality

My TV ain't even full HD, but it's really big though.
Nor do I have a blu-ray dvd player. Because I think if it's too SHARP, it will lose it's magic.

i havent seen one yet, but i hear the picture is really good.

either way, if you buy a shitty low end model you will get a shitty picture. my brothers friend bought a 42" LCD from walmart and the picture is crap. my 720p 42" plasma from 4 years ago out beats the picture on that any day, but he only paid like $700 bucks while i paid almost 4 grand

anyway, im saving for 3D TV, its got to be here soon

OLED is on the way. LED backlit panels are just a stopgap and will pale by comparison.

I don't have the LED... I have the Samsung LCD 52" 650model with a Samsung BDP-150 BluRay, and a Niro surround sound system.

I really love the Samsung LCD
