It widens the definition of "terrorism" for a third time to include basically anything. Yelling at politicians is one of them. The Patriot Act is already being used all over the US to arrest and detain, without charge, journalists, strip-club owners, the owner of a toy store for having unlicensed rubix cubes..on and on. But today's extension goes beyond all of this..nevermind that it exempts anyone in the Bush Admin from any future prosecution for war crimes/illegal wiretapping etc..retroactive to 9/11.
For those of you that might be listening to main stream radio/tv and come back with "Oh, they can only do this to enemy combatants" Nope, as soon as you are detained they can revoke your citizenship so that you are no longer under the protection that your citizenship affords...or used to.
The police can now come into your home without your approval and if you even tell anyone that they came you can be arrested...on and on..
