Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
I spent a few hundred thousand rounds of .50 cal when I was in the Marine Corps. It does a lot of damage, but not like that and not one at a time unless it's a .50 cal sniper rifle. I've never shot one personally, but I've been on the range when they were shooting them. They're the same rounds that are in the .50 machine guns and they didn't seem to do anything different.
I think that's a MK-19. It's a .40mm fully-automatic grenade launcher. You can fire it one at a time like that and the range is incredible. It makes a lot more sense for the explosion and flying bits and pieces.

Think I saw a show about the rifle they are using there either on discovery or tlc. They were blowing apart solid cinder blocks apart with it, and puncturing armored metal. The round actually explodes upon impact. Its the show where the guy tests all kind of weapons out. Not sure what it actually was though, I came in part way through on it.
those are not people being shot, this video is off a website, cant remember the name, its like in wyoming or montana, but they are shooting groundhogs, the website is something about killgroundhogs or something like that, but they have a ton of those videos, and pics of it.
Depleted uranium, or explosive rounds (similar to hydrashocks in normal rounds) with a 50cal could easily send half of someones body flying several feet in the air.
However, i tend to agree with Z on this....just the sheer altitude the body parts reach are pretty much impossible for a regular firearm, no matter how large the caliber. Then again, i'm not sure that a 40mm grenade launcher can reach a half mile.
This is a tough call. Someone should make a post on ar15.com or ak47.net....

Yes the barrett 50 Cal !
The snipers can use exploding rounds that can go through 2 inch metal then explode or just blow up a person.
