Even adjusted in the last 6 months is absolutely insane.

Speaking of which, anyone have lots/property to sell (or know someone who does?) on Lake Gaston, either VA or NC side? ICQ me.

Lake property is even more insane than other property around the area. Especially if you need a few bedrooms.

It's about time that this shit leveled off. The market's been insane for a good decade or so. I hope they all have gotten rich as things now adjust for madness.

We just spent the past week on Lake Gaston -- had a blast. Looking for something larger, maybe 4BR/3 bath.
Also willing to buy reasonably-priced lots in groups of 2-4.

I am thinking of becoming a '1/2 backer' also. I am looking at NC and TN. What do you like about the Lake Gaston area?

We love it. We've got a place in CT, and it's so cold most of the time. There are so many Yankees in NC, it feels like "home."
