It's all the same. Search for right keywords, optimize your site and content and then going for links, lots of links. ;)

Also don't get drawn into getting any old links in, some bad links will do more damage than good. Research your niche, and then link with similar sites, that'll add more weight to your rankings in the long run. Plus if the linking sites are sending traffic it'll be quality traffic that in theory won't bounce.

The main thing with porn is DO NOT go to Specific if the specific is actually a broad term.

One of the first things I was told when I started to have a clue about the engines was to GO for big terms. At worst you walk with a bunch of long trail, at best you get them all.

Go big or go home.

Already a lot of good advice for you .. but if it is like the first time for you .. try to do some more research, try different ways, not only with one site .. .so you will come to enough insight to see what works better for you.
