One thing I found with higher ticketed shows is it speeds up the decision making process when doing business since it's usually owners or executives who make those shows. The rate for the show hotel is inexpensive, especially for a 5 star hotel. The parties will be catered and the alcohol flowing.

As far as availability of outside food, you're in a place where you can find all kinds of amazing food within walking distance. The sidewalk cafe's are a great place to people watch and enjoy some wine, and there are a ton of bars and restaurants where you can get good food and reasonably priced drinks.
