Your samples look good. Trust me, there are many webdesigners otu there who do worse jobs and yet charge for it. I can see no reason why you couldn't.

Designs look okay.. nothing great but nothing bad either. I like sample 2 the best. It's not about when you learned the skill but how skilled you are.

Practice makes perfect man!..You shouldn't be frustrated, try to make samples which suits you. Don't push yourself too hard ok?

Just start working, get into the groove, as every projects passes you will have more skill - you have to start somewhere, I started with a horrific site in 1997 or so, check waybackmachine for amateurcanada.com now I run a large network

webdesign is a tough business. their are other better ways to make money I think heh. Your sites look really good, logo's arent fancy but it looks very solid. I say think up great sites, and have somebody else design it

The number one piece of advice I can offer is to build a portfolio web site. Purchase a domain name and hosting (cheap! $15 for the domain and $5-10/month for hosting) and setup shop with a portfolio, contact information, and pricing. Start bidding on projects as some of the other folks have suggested, or offer to work for free in return for the client's kind words to be used in your portfolio.

Whats interesting is the last comment...I have been looking for someone to design my site forever, and have yet to find someone who will do it just for "credit"
