    Brinking 12 people to Vegas - how do I get the best deal?

    I'm heading to Vegas in February, and I'm bringing about 12 people with me. How the hell do I go about getting the best deal for all of us?

                                      Some hotels may offer blocks of rooms at a discounted rate if you call them up. Usually for any decent deals you need to book at least 20 rooms at a time is what I learned awhile back. It all also depends on the time of the week, where you are staying and what conventions or shows are in town at the time.

                                      If there is a big convention/show/expo in town at the time sometimes you can pretend like you are part of the group in town for that and get some discounted deals. May have to do some research and check out forums on the topics to find the deals tho.

                                              try the travel sites, like Orbitz. Also, try the Artisan Hotel (www.ArtisanHotel.com), they are just off the strip, but it's a nice place (if you like a chill atmosphere).
                                              The hotels themselves generally won't give you jack unless you are gambling there.
